Uturn is an enterprise built from the passion for Mercedes G Class and off-road vehicles.
“In our family, the excitement for cars has been around for a while. We’ve been running a car dealership for more than 30 years. This allowed us to be in constant learning of off-road cars and become experts in the subject.
With this expertise, our core business has become restoring Mercedes G wagons and helping our clients to conquer their dream off-road cars.”
All this magic happens in a small town called Grecia, in tropical Costa Rica.

“THE CONNECTION BETWEEN HUMANS AND THEIR CARS ALWAYS CAUGHT MY ATTENTION.”
“I remember being a child, going on road-trips in my grandfather’s 1997 G wagon and enjoying the stiffness and solid ride that this car gave us.
As time passed, we explored more places in our country and I began to feel a deeper connection with the G wagon. So I got my own, a 1991 GD300. And I started to spend many more hours making it as epic as possible.
This journey has been filled with learnings and experiences.
Every time I take it to the road, I have the most authentic feel of freedom, which modern and plastic vehicles can’t make me feel.”
Because of this, I started Uturn, to share this freedom emotions and lifestyle with others, and bring vintage off-road cars back into the streets – Alejandro B.
